How to check WAIK version

Many times when we are using MDT or SCCM we have to modify or edit the boot.wim file. Them sometimes it resists to work as it should. Then quickly we will hope on to the Google to see how to find what version of WAIK we have.

Here is the easy way to find out the version of the WAIK.

Go to windows Explorer and browse to -

For x64

C:\Program Files\Windows AIK\Tools\amd64  

And for x86

                C:\Program Files\Windows AIK\Tools\x86

Then  check the Properties of any of the applications(bcdboot or Imagex) under these folders. Under the properties, go to the Details tab which gives the version of the WAIK.
