Part 2: Configure On-Premises AD with domain UPN Suffix

 Part 2: Configure On-Premises AD with domain UPN Suffix
An alternate UPN suffix is required to use the on-premises AD with Microsoft Intune.
The UPN suffix should use the same public domain as what it was activated in Intune. The company users will use the email ID with UPN suffix to logon to the Intune company portal and to enroll their mobile devices.
To configure alternate UPN suffix;
1. Login to your environment or server with domain admin credentials
2. Open Active Directory Domains and Trusts
3.Right-click Active Directory Domains and Trusts then click on Properties

4. On the UPN Suffixes tab, type the new UPN suffix that you would like to add to the forest then
     click  Add then click OK
5. Now go to Active Directory Users and Computers
6. Browse to the OU where your users reside
7. Right click your user and select Properties

8. Go to the Account tab then change the suffix value to the public domain name
9. Now when we sync On-Premises AD to Intune, these accounts can be seen in Intune portal with
    public domain UPN suffix.
